The home of the Tamworth History Center is the historic “Hall Dyer” house in downtown Tamworth.

New in autumn 2023: We finished our second floor renovation! We are happy to have the extra space for exhibits, to display our permanent collection, for volunteer collections work, and programs. Thank you to so many for your generous donations, and to all of the tradespeople who worked to make this dream a reality!

We rent out our downstairs meeting room!

Our volunteer team also works to make our cozy, light-filled and renovated meeting room on the first floor of the Hall Dyer house open to other non-profit organizations and individuals to use for meetings and other small events. The climate controlled room has bathroom access, Wifi, a large table with chairs, and a small kitchen. Parking is limited but we are an easy walk from downtown.
