A Family Story and Memorabilia As Social History

Join local historian Richard Posner for an example of how objects from family history can tell stories not only about your family past, but also give insight into wider social history of their time.

"For almost a century a small door in a wardrobe stayed locked. When it was finally opened the contents provided a window on the world of my great grandfather, his family and the England of the late Victorian age. It also left me with many questions." - Richard Posner

This event will be held in the meeting room in the lower level of the library.
